2024
This painting is part of a small series for an exhibition called ‘Spring-time’. Since turning 30 this year, I wanted to celebrate new beginnings, creative growth, love, and transformation. The recurring butterfly and floral motifs in this body of work symbolises the metamorphosis we all undergo, embodying the beauty and grace that accompanies change.

This painting was for a group exhibition that delves into the themes of rebirth, repair, reinvention, and recreation of women throughout their lifetime. After quitting my full-time job and pursuing art as a career, I wanted to focus on self-love and dedicate to healing, prioritising my health, and engaging in things that bring me joy.
