About the Artist
Lisa, who was born and raised in Sydney to Vietnamese parents, has a background in Graphic Design that ignited her passion for colors and thoughtful composition. After working as a Designer/Illustrator in the creative industry for over 8 years, she has now dedicated herself to pursuing a full-time career as an Artist.
Lisa's artistic focus is on floral scenes, portraits, and still life. Her painting technique is often likened to "stained glass" due to the distinctive separation of colours. She finds this method of painting to be exceptionally therapeutic as she carefully builds up each colour individually. Her current painting style originated from her illustration work, which she has transformed into her signature style.
Her inspiration comes from a wide variety of sources, including fashion, interior objects, flowers, and women. Through her painting, Lisa aims to remind herself to appreciate the simple beauties in life and to bring joy to those who discover her work.
